No trip hazards and full passage width

Thanks to the fixed screw connection to the wall, the gate does not require a frame (unlike most pressure-mounted gates). Especially on stairs, the absence of a bottom rail allows for unobstructed passage. This means there is no additional tripping step, and the gate is particularly suitable for securing the top of the stairs. Furthermore, the entire passage width is maintained, as no side clamping rails are needed that would narrow the opening.

Secure protection for children

To ensure a secure lock that is insurmountable for little explorers, the safety gate is equipped with the Simple-Lock double-opening mechanism. This means that two actions must be performed simultaneously to unlock the gate.

Nevertheless, adults can open it quickly and with just one hand. Simply push the latch down and lift the gate to the side, then the gate can swing open.

Various uses

The safety gate is securely screwed to the wall. This makes it particularly suitable for securing staircases, as a secure foundation is crucial in these areas.

Thanks to the wide adjustable width range of 63 - 103.5 cm, the gate can be used in many different places with various widths without additional modules. Besides stairs, it can also be used to secure doors or wider passages.

Design compliant with European standards

The screw-fixed gate combines all relevant safety aspects that must be considered for safety gates. With a height of 75 cm and no crossbars that could be used as climbing aids, it makes it extremely difficult for small children to climb.

Its closed and rounded shapes prevent pinch points throughout the gate area and thus protect against pinched fingers even in the hinge area.

Furthermore, only non-toxic, saliva- and sweat-resistant materials have been used, which are classified as 100% harmless for contact with children.

The simple structure, which allows for error-free installation, ensures safe use in accordance with standard EN 1930:2011.

Opens in both directions

Thanks to the fixed screw connection via a wall hinge, the gate can be opened in both directions.

This means that the door can always be easily opened in the direction of movement.

When using stairs, however, we strongly recommend that the gate always opens away from the stairs to minimize risk.

A direction stopper is included in the set for safe use on stairs, which can only open to one side when used.
